Thousands of sweaty clubbers decedent on Ibiza each week, as such the island is not short on massive parties that bring together each and every night. There are tons of super clubs form Pacha to Space to Amnesia, and they all offer big experiences, big sounds, big crowds and high impact sounds. What the place lacks though is smaller, more intimate gatherings of the sort that happened on the island in its 70s and 80s hey day. Hoping to change all that is Love The Underground Records.

The label launched in 2014 with real affection and a passion for quality dance sounds and since then has become a reliable place for DJs and dancers to find only the hottest tech house, techno, deep house and minimal. Mikaela, who hails from Russia and has played many headline gigs around the world, is the label boss and is a keen DJ as well as revered producer behind EPs such as Max Destruction, which was a high impact release full of dance floor dynamite.

She will be playing each party this season, and will be  joined by a finely picked roster of big names acts including Butch, Marco Bailey, Miguel Bastida, Ramon Tapia, Sam Paganini and Wade. Already the night has had small warm up event at Sankeys in Juen 3rd, but tonight they settle into their proper home for the summer, namely Tox at Destino.

This is a small club that prises intimate experiences and up close and personal vibes, and for that reason it should set this Love The Underground Records night apart. As we arrive, the boss is doing her thing, mixing up slick selections and fine techno and house records that all come with fat grooves in their bones .The atmosphere is wild and playful and she mirror that with her antics in the booth.

The friends that jon her tonight are Shlomi Aber, Shaded (live) and BEC, and each of them does their thing in style, but Shlomi Aber is the main man of us. His dark tech and techno suds are just what are needed in the late night hour and they really keep people dancing. This is a friendly party for those who like to feel a part of a small and cosy event rather than just being one of a thousand lost dancers on the dance floor. For that reason it is well worth checking out.
