Los Angeles-based producer Darin Epsilon and Tilllate Magazine reviewer heats up what remains of the winter with four new tracks (all handpicked by Beatport as “Must Hear” selections), worldwide tour dates, and a remix contest.
Cid Inc vs. Darin Epsilon – “Outliers” is out now on his imprint Perspectives Digital and includes a remix by world-renowned producer Petar Dundov. In April, Beatport will host the official remix contest to “Outliers,” with the winner receiving a variety of prizes including a free copy of the Sasha Soundlab by Audio Raiders, Beatport store credit, a subscription to ReleasePromo.com, and much more. Darin has also released a remix of Omid 16B’s “Nu1″ for Sudbeat and an original called “Feel Right” featuring Amber Long for Perfecto.
Often referred to as North America’s leading figure in underground Progressive House, Epsilon has also received critical acclaim and praise in the Deep House, Tech House, and Techno communities. With support by everyone from Sasha to Above & Beyond to Nicole Moudaber, his new releases offer another look at his creativity and diverse musical range.
“I’m inspired by a lot of music and it’s always hard to pin-point where I’m going next,” says Darin. “I think that carving your own path and not believing in a formula keeps things interesting. We don’t live our lives with one emotion, so a diverse collection of music is important in capturing these different moments.”
This March will see Darin’s debut at South By Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, performing alongside legendary artists Paul Oakenfold, Hernan Cattaneo & Nick Warren.
